The Washington DC 99s hosted a paint night event on 5 Nov 2021 to raise money for aviation scholarships and education.
On 5 November 2021 the Washington DC Chapter Ninety Nines hosted a glass etching event in preparation for the holiday season. The event raised $225 that will be used for future scholarship opportunities. Participants were able to choose glassware including mason jars, wine bottles, and beer glasses to etch their designs of choice - there were many airplane images to choose from! Thanks to our instructor, Tammy Brown, and to Washington International Flight Academy located in Montgomery County Airpark for hosting the event space!
