- Girls in Aviation Day at College Park Airport Saturday Sept 25, 2021

This was an Aviation Exposition for girls who are interested in aviation. This is an annual event to encourage girls to pursue aviation related interests and careers. Coast Guard pilot Kim Wood and Coast Guard pilot Rebekah Seifer presented career opportunities. Kathleen O'Neil spoke about careers as a CFI and about opportunities for aviation lessons. There were representatives from NOAA and the weather sources. It was also attended by the College Park Maryland Civil Air Patrol.
The adult mentors included Women Pilots 99s - Washington DC chapter mentors.
